My shopping bag: January finds

If you’ve ever met me, or even feel like you know me, you are well aware of my severe shopping problem. The amount of hours I spend aimlessly wandering through online stores could probably be better spent elsewhere, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Each month I’m going to share my favorite purchases and give a little inside look into my personal (and never-ending) shopping bag.

1. The perfect pink

This winter everyone got to the nearest Sephora and got some shade of dark lipstick. Don’t get me wrong, I love a nice wine-colored hue but I wanted to try something a little different. This month I bought a rosy pink lipstick and I think it will be the perfect shade to transition into spring.

2. Two-for-one

On average, it’s about 30 degrees colder in Paris than it is in Phoenix. Needless to say, my cold weather wardrobe needed some updating. I found this super warm sweater with its own built in scarf at Michael Kors and I can’t wait to to wear it all over Paris.

3. Wrap it up

The one thing that I’ve heard when it comes to dressing like a Parisian is neutral neutral neutral. Luckily, this hasn’t been too much of a challenge for me considering the majority of my wardrobe is black. When I saw this scarf at H&M I knew it would be the perfect pop of neutral color for any ensemble, plus it looks like it cost way more than $10.

4. My Christmas gift to myself

Okay okay I know that Christmas was last month, but how could I not include this beauty of a bag? After working 20 hours a week on top of being a full-time student, I decided to reward myself to this oh so beautiful Rebecca Minkoff Perry Satchel. The best part about it? I got it for $150 below retail 🙂

Make sure to check back soon for all of my fab February finds!
