Color combinations 101: Cédric Charlier collection review

I know I’m a little behind on my collection reviews, but between my schoolwork and social outings, I’ve been pretty tied up. But don’t worry, the wait is finally over because my Cédric Charlier collection review is finally here!

Out of the four shows that I attended during Paris Fashion Week, Cédric Charlier presented my favorite collection. Situated at the Palais de Tokyo, Charlie showcased beautifully wearable pieces in hues of kelly green, salmon, and navy. The shapes were structured and feminine, but styling and pairing of colors is what really made the pieces pop.

The wonderful thing about this collection is how simple it was. Charlier used classic, feminine shapes and made them come to life with colors that couldn’t have been more complementary. Personally, I think kelly green can be a bit frightening on the styling frontier, but Charlier rose to the occasion by pairing it with cobalt, maroon and salmon. Thanks for styling inspiration, Cédric!
